(808 Victory Drive, World City… June 18th, 20XX)

 

It was a rather cool summer afternoon in World City. Several men dressed in baggy fitting gray coverall style jumpsuits rushed to wheel in dollys loaded with boxes into the newly purchased home on 808 Victory Drive before the impending rain started. They were nearly finished with the delivery job, which was evidenced by the near empty trailer attached to the semi-truck parked on the side of the road. The men pressed forward up the empty driveway to a sidewalk path that led to the entrance of the home. As they entered the foyer of the home, a young man dressed in navy blue shorts, a white tank top shirt and a pair of navy, white and yellow Nike Air Max Sneakers stood and watched, nodding with approval of the good work the movers had done.

 

“Yo! Great work fellas. Thanks for responding so fast.” Praised the young man gratefully.

 

Being a man of African American descent, his skin tone was a light shade of brown. He was very short in stature for an adult male. He stood a diminutive 5 ‘2 in height which made him shorter than the average woman in World City. However, the little man had a strong and muscular build to his body with well-defined muscles, which indicated that he was an athlete or at least worked out regularly. His short auburn, reddish brown hair spiked upwards with very sharp looking tips on the ends. The hair on the sides of the young man’s head were completely shaved off, making for a very uncommon haircut. He also possessed sharp, narrow, piercing green eyes, however they were currently enlarged from being happy and in a good mood. On the left side of his face was a large, thin jagged scar which ran down his eye. The scar looked out of place given the rest of his physical appearance. It appeared as if the young man had been slashed in the face with a blade at some point in the past. Standing next to the young man at his feet was a small all black dog. The K-9 was a Pomeranian breed. His short, puppy style cut, obsidian black fur had a shining luster to it. His perky ears stood straight up as he watched the movers along with his human.

 

“What do you think, Jett? This is our new home.” The young man asked while looking down at his K-9 companion.

 

“Arf! Arf!” Barked Jett while nodding his head and wagging his tail wildly in response to his human’s question.

 

The home itself was one to marvel at. It was a 2 story Spanish style home reminiscent of the ones that existed during colonial times, but with a more modern spin on it. The house was beige mallin color with dark blue stucco style roofing. The home’s front exterior was lined with pillars, similar to ones found in ancient roman structures. In front of the house there was a small set of concrete steps which gave it a royal castle-like vibe. The steps lead to the front door which wasn’t the typical type found on most houses. The owner had chosen to have a set of Spanish style double doors installed. Unlike standard doors these were rounded instead of squared off at the top. The doors were outfitted with a gold colored door knocker shaped like a queen’s crown, complete with Sapphire blue gemstones embedded in it. The second floor of the house possessed a balcony that went around its entire exterior, going all the way to the backyard area. The driveway to the house was massive in size, triple that of a standard driveway. This made it capable of holding multiple vehicles at once, and even oversized moving trucks. Instead of the standard concrete, this home’s driveway was made of bricks. The bricks were colored various shades of blue similar to how normal bricks are various shades of red, brown and beige. The driveway radiated with bright luster which reflected the sun and created somewhat of a blue aura due to the heat and humidity outside. The home’s yard was pretty big as well. It took up space on both sides of the drive. At the end of the driveway on the left side of the home there was a double wide garage which could hold 4 vehicles instead of the typical 2 garage found in most houses. The interior of the home was just as impressive, boasting 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room and 2 living rooms; it was more than enough to support a standard sized family.

 

“All we have left is the stuff that goes in the backyard.” Said the leader of the moving crew to the green eyed youth.

 

“We’ll take you back there.” Replied the young man. Jett led the way by walking out of the still open front door. Xavier followed and walked out of the front door behind Jett. They then proceeded to the wall that surrounded the home’s backyard area.

 

“ARF!” Sounded the little Pomeranian while pointing his head towards a double wide blue steel gate.

 

The young man opened the gate door and held it open for the moving crew. Jett walked through first followed by the movers and lastly the auburn haired man.

 

“Jett, show them where to put everything.” Instructed the green eyed young man. Jett looked at his human and nodded.

 

The men carried in an assortment of items including two sets of outdoor tables and chairs, a BBQ grill, several lawn chairs and even a hammock. Jett directed traffic on his owner’s behalf. The dog moved next to the two men carrying the first BBQ grill and barked once. Afterwards he walked over the patio area right outside of the back door kitchen entrance and stood in one spot. The all black dog moved to different spots in the backyard, showing the movers where to put stuff.

 

After the movers finished, the young man and his dog stood for a moment and looked around the extravagant backyard. The grounds were made of the same style brick as the driveway. In the very center of the brick section, there was an empty in-ground swimming pool. It was 30 feet wide, 60 feet long and 15 feet deep.

 

‘Look at this. A big ass house with a pool. This is so dope! One day I’ll have somethin like this of my own,’ The young man wishfully thought as he and Jett left the backyard to close and secure the gate. Afterwards, they went back inside.

 

“Yo mom! They’re done!” Yelled the green-eyed youth as two more men rolled dollies past him and went to the next room of the home. Immediately after telling his mom the movers were done, the young man followed them to the living room of the home. The living room was a massive space, big enough to support several house guests, probably around 20-25 without being crowded or congested. The floors were scattered with boxes of the family’s belongings which was going to be a hell of a task to sort through.

 

At that moment a woman came out of the kitchen. She was tall, standing about 6’0. She had long, flowing, wild looking sandy blonde hair. The woman was absolutely gorgeous, with smooth caramel skin which had no blemishes whatsoever. It was clear that the woman took good care of herself. Her body was a work of art, one of a goddess. It looked as if God had personally molded and sculpted her. Her wide hips and plump, round derriere swung and jiggled as she walked into the room, stretching her blue yoga pants to its limit. Her face was a true expression of pure beauty, with somewhat narrow, almond shaped green eyes and sandy blonde eyelashes which matched the color of her long locks. Her huge bountiful bosoms were a sight to behold, as they were barely contained by the belly revealing t-shirt that clung to them. The imprints of her nipples made it obvious that she wasn’t wearing a bra underneath. After entering the room, the woman jumped and pumped her fist with excitement.

 

“¡Buen trabajo, chicos! ¡Vamos a comer lonche! ¡Se pueden quedar a comer con nosotros!” Exclaimed the woman after landing from the jump. The moving men shot the woman a lustful gaze, which caused the young man’s mood to instantly shift from gratitude to annoyance which was evident by the scowl he wore on his face.

 

“She said, Fantastic job guys! We are about to have lunch. You’re welcomed to stay and eat!” Remarked a second female voice which belonged to someone coming down the stairs. The figure coming down the stairs was a thick young woman with long pink hair and brown skin slightly darker than the spiky haired man. She was shorter than her mother but taller than her brother with a body that resembled a smaller version of her mother’s busty, curvaceous frame. She was dressed in a pair of tiny denim shorts with a tight-fitting yellow t-shirt that had the word “BIG” across the chest area. The younger woman looked at the movers with a smile and fluttered her big blue eyes at them. The green-eyed man looked over to his sister with a look of disapproval at her choice of clothing.

 

“Xaria…” remarked the young man with a sigh as his sister walked towards the kitchen

 

“What Xavier? Don’t like my clothes? Mom said this is ok!” Xaria replied, using their mother’s approval to counter her brother’s opinion.

 

“ARF!” Jett barked, shaking his head to say no to Xaria.

 

“Why am I not surprised by your opinion?” Xaria remarked to her brother’s pet.

 

And then a second woman stepped out of the kitchen. She too was an opulent beauty. She had light brown milky skin along with swept back dark brown hair that hung all the way down her back and past her sizable, soft bootylicious rear end. The woman’s figure was a perfect hourglass shape that was nearly on full display due to how little she was wearing. She had on a pair of skintight black athletic shorts that were so small they looked more like underwear along with a white American flag print bikini top that looked too small to hold her mountainous melons in place. Her skimpy attire was completed with a pair of white flip flops that matched her top. The woman’s finger and toenails were painted with the same American flag pattern that was on her bikini.

 

“Lunch is ready!” yelled the second woman.

 

“Why do you pester me and mom about what we wear but you never say anything to Auntie Xenna?!” Xaria asked her brother Xavier. He answered by simply pointing at her wedding ring.

 

“She’s married. If Uncle Sidd has no problem with how she dresses, then it ain’t my place to correct her.” Xavier replied. A third female voice then yelled out from the kitchen.

 

“Xaria! Come help me serve the plates.” Requested the voice.

 

“On my way Xelina!” Xaria answered before heading into the kitchen. There, a young woman with light red hair worked putting plates together. Xelina was a beautiful and exotic looking young lady with big golden eyes. Unlike her cousin, she was a mix of African and Middle Eastern descent. The redhead was dressed more moderately than Xaria, Mei and Xenna, she chose to wear jeans and a Hello Kitty t-shirt. She is Xenna’s daughter and cousin to Xavier and Xaria. The two cousins worked together to get the plates of Cuban sandwiches and French fries to the moving men who were waiting in the living room. They served their guests and after the movers left, the family sat down at the dining room table to eat. Lastly Xavier came out of the kitchen with 2 large platters which had two doggie bowls on it, one was filled with water and the other with food. He put the platter on the floor next to his chair where Jett was waiting. Everyone lowered their heads as Mei said a short prayer to bless the food before they started eating. Xavier picked up his sandwich and took a giant bite. He quickly chewed and swallowed before stuffing a handful of fries into his mouth.

 

“Javi! Stop that. The food ain’t going anywhere!” Mei chided with a laugh.

 

“I’m hungry. I couldn’t help it!” Xavier replied.

 

“Still the lil X I remember.” Xenna chuckled.

 

“You act like I haven’t seen you in years. You were at my graduation 2 weeks ago.”

 

“Ya and you were eating like the Tasmanian Devil then too.” Xenna retorted back.

 

“I think you’ll like it here in World City.” Xelina remarked to change the subject. She looked at Xavier and then Xaria when she made the statement.

 

“We have all kinds of conventions for anime, video game tournaments and all the other stuff you like X.” Xelina continued. “World City Comic Con is in a couple of weeks. I know you wanna go to that.”

 

“I think the tickets might be sold out though.” Xavier answered back.

 

“You can always check with the scalpers if you wanna go that bad.” Xenna added.

 

“I can’t afford to pay those jacked up prices on a pizza delivery man’s pay!” Xavier disagreed, referring to the job he recently transferred over to the World City location.

 

“I’m so happy we’re all back together again! I have my favorite niece and nephew back and my ace bitch. I really gotta show you around town Mei. We need to go shopping.”

 

“Si. I heard the malls here are the best in the world! And the restaurants too! I have to try them!” Mei added before taking a sip of her soda.

 

“Girl we’re gonna do all that!” Xenna commented before taking a short pause. Xenna looked around the interior of the house, taking in the opulence of its big, spacious design. Mei had truly found success and reached the status she had worked so hard to attain.

 

“Just look at how far you’ve come, Mei. I remember back when we were kids in Queens. I met you in school and you didn’t know any English!” Xenna recalled.

 

“Yeah, I was fresh off the boat from the Dominican Republic. Remember how your parents wouldn’t let you hang out with me because I lived in Southside, and you used to take the train there anyway?” Mei added.

 

Xavier, Xaria and Xelina listened intently because it was rare that their mothers ever talked about the past. The Southside Jamaica area of Queens was a working class district but had its issues with gangs, drugs and violence which were prevalent there. Mei lived there with an aunt shortly after immigrating to the United States. Mei and Xenna grew up together and formed an unbreakable friendship over the years.

 

“It’s because of me that you two are here today.” Xenna joked while looking over at Xavier and Xaria.

 

“That is kinda true!” Mei commented.

 

“It was Xenna that introduced me to your “Father”.” Mei stated while doing the quotation gesture with her fingers, referencing Xenna’s younger brother, Xavier and Xaria’s father. Xavier briefly scowled at the mention of him while Xaria offered a different reaction, a slight smile.

 

“X, one of these nights I’m gonna take you out and we’re gonna go to the club, bet you haven’t been to one yet and it’s been months since we hung out. Maybe you’ll come out of your shell a little bit when you meet my friends. I showed them your picture and they think you’re cute!” Xelina informed her introverted cousin. Xavier blushed, embarrassed by Xelina’s comments.

 

“Si Xelina! Javi could use some new culo (ass) in his life right now.” Mei suggested, embarrassing him even more. The busty blonde milf followed up by getting out of her seat. After getting to her feet, Mei started doing pelvic thrusts while gesturing with her hands as if she was holding on to a big ol booty with them, fucking a woman from behind. Xenna, Xelina and Xaria couldn’t help but laugh.

 

“Mom, cut it out!” Xavier requested as he became more annoyed with his mom’s lewd and crude humor. Xenna then got out of her seat and positioned herself in front of Mei. The sexy mocha brunette bent over in front of Mei and grabbed onto the edge of the table joining in on Mei’s simulation of Xavier having sex.

 

“AHHH!!!!! X GIMME THAT BIG CHORIZO! HARDER! YEAH LIKE THAT DADDY!” Xenna jokingly moaned while Mei grabbed her ass and slammed into her.

 

“Maaaaooooom! Aunt Xennnnnnnnaaaaa! Can you please stop this?!” Begged the green eyed son.

 

“Yala, Yala… Tranquilo! (Okay, Okay… Calm down!) Damn, just having a little fun mijo (my son).”

 

“I think mom has a point bro. You have been moping around acting sad since what’s-her-name dumped you a few months ago.” Xaria pointed out, referring to her brother’s ex-girlfriend.

 

“ARF!” Jett added as he nudged Xavier’s ankle. Jett’s human looked down to see the dog nodding his head in agreement with Xaria.

 

“C’mon! You’re supposed to be on my side!” Xavier complained to his dog.

 

“Ha! Even your buddy agrees with us Javi. And dogs are a great judge of character!” Mei said, causing everyone in the room except Xavier to laugh.

 

“Mom, Xaria, we don’t need to talk about this in front of Aunt Xenna and Xelina.” Declared the spiky haired young man in an attempt to kill the subject.

 

“Oh yes, you do,” Xenna interjected with a smirk. “I wanna know what’s going on in my favorite nephew’s life.

 

“I’m your ONLY nephew,” Xavier pointed out with a deadpan expression.

 

“That doesn’t change the fact that you’re my favorite!” Xenna remarked before walking over to Xavier and tickling him.

 

“AY! Quit! Cut it out!” Xavier demanded before busting out into laughter. He turned and twisted in his chair to get away from his tickle-happy auntie, but he was unable to escape. Jett looked on and let out a light bark that sounded like he was laughing too.

 

“Ok! Ok! I give up!” Xavier chuckled. Xenna stopped and kissed Xavier on the cheek and then went back to her seat.

 

“I think I can help you out with your woman problems lil cuz.” Xelina asserted with a grin. Xavier simply face palmed and lowered his head, causing all 4 of the women at the table to erupt in laughter once more. Mei then looked at her phone and took notice of the time.

 

“I gotta go get ready for work. I have to be there in 30 minutes.” Remarked Xavier’s mom before getting up and rushing upstairs.

 

“I think there’s a sale going on at the mall right now. You wanna go?” Xelina asked Xaria.

 

“Yeah let’s go!” Xaria answered, eager to check out what World City had to offer. Xaria went upstairs to put on her shoes while Xenna and Xelina collected all the dishes and loaded them into the dishwasher. Meanwhile Xavier hooked up the living room TV, the cable and his PlayStation Z console. After coming back down the stairs Xaria approached Xavier and gave him a hug.

 

“See ya later bro!” she said before kissing him on the cheek.

 

“I’ll probably be at work. Have a good shopping trip. And…and call me if anybody gives you problems while you’re over there.” Instructed the overprotective big brother.

 

“I don’t think there will be any issues but I’ll let you know if something happens.” Xaria assured. She joined Xelina and Xenna at the door as they said bye to Xavier. Afterwards the trio departed. The scar faced young man turned on the TV so he could play video games. Jett followed and jumped onto the couch, taking a seat next to Xavier. There was an afternoon local new cast playing while Xavier looked for his game controllers.

 

“In a shocking turn of events, the formerly defunct local university Bailey State University has come to terms on a sale to a new owner. The identity of the new owner hasn’t been revealed. What is known is that an agreement was made a month ago and finalized last week. We will keep you updated as we obtain more information.”

 

‘Bailey State, never heard of that college.’ Xavier thought to himself before finding his controller and turning on the Playstation. Xavier recently got Street Fighter Infinity, the newest title in the series. It was released on June 8th, Xavier’s 18th birthday, a week ago.

 

“Finally, I haven’t got to play this much with moving last week.” Commented the young man to his K-9 friend as he made his way to online play mode. Just as X was about to start playing, Mei came down the stairs. He looked over his shoulder and took notice of what Mei was wearing. He dropped his controller and immediately jumped off of the couch, pointing at Mei as his jaw dropped to the floor.

 

“MOM! YOU CAN’T WEAR THAT TO WORK!!” yelled the son frantically. The outfit in question consisted of a pair of figure hugging black capri dress pants which accentuated her heavenly curves. Along with the hot pants, the sexy milf sported a sleeveless blue sweater. Its neckline plunged deep, showing most of her breasts and it was cut short, just enough to show off her toned stomach, the result of countless hours of yoga and gym work. An expensive black designer purse, like the ones worn by female celebrities hung from her shoulder.

 

“I’m going casual today. I’m sure you’d love this outfit if it was one of those “model” hoes you follow online wearing this.”

 

“Of course because they’re not my mom, YOU ARE!” explained the annoyed son.

 

“And you call this casual?! You look like you’re trying to get into the club for free!” Xavier continued.

 

“DIOS MIO! You always wanna rain on my parade Javi! You should be proud that your mom is muy caliente!” Mei asserted as she approached him. The hot mama leaned in and kissed her son on the cheek.

 

“Have a good day at work hijo.” Mei said, wishing her son luck.

 

“You too mom..” replied the son before standing up and putting his hand on her shoulder. He then extended his hand to his mom and pointed at her with his thumb and index finger as if she were pointing a pistol at her.

 

“You ready mom?!” Xavier asked Mei

 

“SI! Por supuesto! Vamonos! (YES! Of course! Let’s go!)” Mei exclaimed loudly in response, striking a pose and pointing back at her son in the same manner he was doing. Both mother and son stepped forward and slapped hands together 3 times before shaking hands and grasping briefly. Immediately after, Mei closed her fist and slammed it on top of Xavier’s closed fist, followed by him doing the same. The mother son duo followed up by fist bumping one another once. Next, Xavier and Mei both pounded on their own chests 2 times with their right hands. The handshake sequence ended with both Xavier and Mei saluting each other with 2 fingers. This elaborate handshake was created many years ago during his days as an amateur boxer. This began as a pre-fight ritual done for good luck right before his fights, but since then it had become a goodbye greeting prior to one or both of them leaving to go to school or work and even other events such as fighting game tournaments that Xavier competed in. After finishing the secret handshake, Xavier hugged Mei tightly.

 

“I’m proud of you mom. Thank you for all that you’ve done for me and the work you put in to get us here..”

 

“And I’m proud of you Javi. Thank you for motivating me to get ‘here’. ” Mei answered back with a satisfied smile. Her expression showed that she was genuinely surprised by Xavier’s spur of the moment show of affection.

 

The young man embraced his mother for several seconds. “Kill it at this new business. I love you mom.’

 

“No doubt about that. I love you too, my little prince.” Remarked the mother affectionately. Mei then turned around and walked out of the door to go to work, leaving Xavier and his PlayStation alone.

 

“It’s been a while since I got on here. Finally I have some time to play… Check this out!” Exclaimed Xavier, looking at Jett before he prepared for his first online match. He received an invite from a player with the screen name TrueWarrior99.

 

“ARF! ARF! ARF! Acknowledged the little pomeranian excitedly as he moved to sit in Xavier’s lap.

 

“Come on Motherfucker, let’s go! I owe you an ass whoopin!” Barked the young gamer.

(3 hours later…….)

 

Xavier had fought against the same opponent the entire time he was playing with 25 wins a piece. The young man looked at the time on his phone and noticed that it was almost time for him to leave for work. By this time, Jett had gone outside to go to the bathroom, came back inside and went to sleep on a doggie pillow in the corner of the living room.

 

Xavier began typing into the game console’s instant messenger.

 

[Shoryu_Legend]: Good game homie. I have to leave in a minute because I have to go to work.

 

[TrueWarrior99]: Alright, I have to go to work soon myself. But I think we have time for one more game. Afterall, we have to break this tie!

 

[Shoryu_Legend]: Bet! Let’s go!”

 

Xavier’s phone then started to chime and vibrate. He picked it up and unlocked the screen to reveal a text message from his aunt.

 

[Aunt Xenna]: OMW over now. Hurry up, get off of that game and get ready for work.” the message read.

 

She had perfectly predicted what he was doing at that very moment. Xenna knew Xavier’s habits and mannerisms like the back of her hand, almost as well as his mother, Mei. The young man then sent another message.

 

[Shoryu_Legend]: We’ll have to settle the score next time. I don’t wanna fuck around and be late. I moved recently and transferred to a Pizza Shack where I live. Today is my first day of work there.

 

[TrueWarrior99]: Ok, HMU next time you can play. 👍

(20 minutes later….)

 

Xavier had just finished showering and was in the process of getting dressed.

 

HONK! HONK! HONK!

 

Blared a loud horn from outside of the home. Xavier scrambled to find his Pizza Shack hat which was mixed up in one of the many open boxes on his bedroom floor. He had forgotten to take his hat with him when he left New York.

 

HONK! HONK!

 

“DAMMIT!” Xavier yelled as he dumped out box after box in an effort to find his hat.

 

‘I could just go and ask for another hat after I get there.’ He thought to himself.

 

‘Wait, I don’t know what the managers are going to be like and it would be a bad look for me to show up on my first day without all the parts of my uniform, especially since I don’t know any of these people yet.’ He thought again, reconsidering the situation. After emptying 6 boxes, his hat fell out of box number 7, amongst an assortment of binders and notebooks.

 

HONK! HONK!

 

“I’M COMING!” Yelled the pizza delivery man out of his open window. Next, he rushed down the stairs and sprinted for the door, hurriedly slamming it shut after stepping outside. Quickly, he entered the car.

 

“You couldn’t find your hat could you?”

 

“Nah, I forgot to pack it with the stuff I took with me when we left Queens.” Answered the young nephew. Xenna pulled out of the driveway and quickly whipped her car around to turn and leave the subdivision.

 

The streets he saw were a pristine shining shade of black with clear bright white stripes. The street signs shined in the sunlight creating a bright reflection that made it hard to see as Xenna’s vehicle approached a nearby stop sign. Many of the homes on the side of the streets had big, beautiful front yards with blossoming flowers. Suburban men who were outside mowing their lawns wave at the duo as they passed by. As they turned to get on the main road, Xavier looked out of the window and took in the sights. There were countless women outside, some were running clad in tiny spandex workout shorts and sports bras, other scantily clad beauties were out walking their dogs down the palm tree lined sidewalks. Some stood at bus stops waiting for the city bus to make its next round. Xavier was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of feminine, titty bouncing, sensual goodness around him. His mouth hung open and his eyes enlarged with his pupils being reduced to tiny black dots, in shock of what he was seeing.

 

“Told ya, there’s plenty of girls out here… And this is only one street corner.” Xenna remarked, laughing at her nephew’s face when she was finished speaking.

 

“There are A LOT of women!” Xavier replied.

 

“Ya, the ratio in the city is 3 to 1, women to men. This is the perfect place for dating. You have your pick of girls to choose from.”

 

As Xavier continued to look, he took notice of a tall tanned black-haired hottie on roller skates with dark pointed black ears on the top of her head and two thin black, webbed wings sprouting from her back just above the straps to the bikini top she was wearing. The winged woman was wearing some daisy duke style denim shorts with multiple holes in the back. Her fatty hind parts tightly filled in the holes in the shorts as if the woman’s ass were trying to break free from her clothing. The green-eyed young man stared at her for an extended period until they had gotten so far away that she faded from his view.

 

“My goodness! Damn, That girl is holdin!” Xavier commented in reference to the radically sized rump.

 

“What is she? A bat?” Xavier asked after noticing the wings that sprouted from the woman’s back and the smaller set that stuck out from the sides of her head.

 

“Yeah. If you like Beastmaidens, then you’re in the right place.” Xenna stated with a grin,

 

“World City has the highest population of Demihumans in the world. Many of them moved here because of how accepting our city’s society is to them. It’s not like back in New York.” Xenna explained.

 

“You’re right I never saw a single Beastmaiden in person back home.” Xavier added.

 

“Many Beastfolk have left other cities and states to live in World City over the last twenty, thirty years.” Xenna informed him before taking a brief pause.

 

“I remember when I was visiting you and Mei a couple of years ago. I got on your computer while you were at school.” stated the beautiful brunette before another brief pause. Xavier immediately turned red with embarrassment as he remembered that visit and what he had on his computer at the time.

 

“Yeah, you had pictures of naked Dragon Girls in a folder called Sneakers. I remember that.”

 

“You went through my files!?” responded the young man, the humiliation evident on his stunned face.

 

“You didn’t hide them at all. Being sneaky isn’t your thing, but now, you don’t have to be. There are quite a few Dragon girls in the city that you can see, talk to and touch in person. A lot of them have come to World City from overseas. ” Xenna commented suggestively.

 

“What’s that over there?” Xavier asked while pointing at a cluster of buildings surrounded by a security gate.

 

“That’s a Federal Office Complex. There are few government agencies that operate there, including the Department of Higher Education.” Xenna answered.

 

“The Department regulates the operation of colleges. From the smallest community colleges up to the most elite private universities. They decide whether or not a college is qualified to operate.” Xenna continued. Xavier listened as his aunt gave him knowledge.

 

“The World City branch is one of the busiest because of the number of colleges in the area. World City is a major college town with several different colleges. You can find just about any career specialty you want to study for in one of the universities here.” Xenna explained informatively.

 

“I see. So, what else is going on in the city?” Xavier asked.

 

“Hmm… World City is known for its booming sex industry. Prostitution is legal here and a lot of Adult Films are made here. World City has surpassed Los Angeles in terms of adult film production. This is a very sexually free city. It’s not like that everywhere in this country yet. There’s still some opposition to a sexually free society, like back home in New York and in some of the other states. This is a subject each state votes on during senate and congressional elections. World City has grown exponentially in the last few decades. And the Adult Entertainment industry played a huge role in the city’s growth.” Xenna explained before asking Xavier a question of her own.

 

“Anyways, how are things going with college applications? Did you get any scholarship acceptance letter from any of the schools that have the Cinematography program you want to enroll in?” Xenna asked with interest.

 

“Nah, not yet. I’m getting a little nervous. I was hoping I’d get a scholarship from one of them. I put in a lot of work to get my grades up over the years so I could be considered. I’m a little disappointed I haven’t gotten any offers yet.” Xaver confessed, briefly looking down when he said he was disappointed.

 

“Be patient, X. You still have a little bit of time left to be accepted. Maybe some of them haven’t gotten to your application yet. You’ll get picked up by one of them, I know it.” Xenna assured confidently while poking him in the shoulder.

 

“Thanks for the vote of confidence but, in case it doesn’t happen I’m gonna keep working while I figure out a Plan B with my life.” Xavier replied, still unsure of himself. Xenna and Xavier then arrived at the world famous Pizza Shack, a popular pizza chain which has locations all over the country. Xavier has been working for Pizza Shack since he got his driver’s license 2 years ago.

 

“Thanks for giving me a ride. I get off work at 11.”

 

“I’ll be back to pick you up tonight.”

 

Xavier got out of the car and gave Xenna a head nod as she pulled out of the parking lot.

(10:30 PM…..)

 

It had been a busy evening at the Pizza Shack. For his first day at his new location, Xavier worked in the store making pizzas and taking care of guests at the cash register. As he was helping shut down the store, one last customer arrived to pick up an order. Xavier looked out of the windows near the store entrance and saw a thick, voluptuous feminine figure get off of a motorcycle. The black tights hugged her hips, thighs and ass. Her tits were so big that the hoodie she was wearing couldn’t hide them. After parking the motorcycle, the figure took off her helmet and walked inside the store. The unknown woman wore her light red hair cut short with 2 bangs that hung down the sides of her face. Xavier’s heart rate sped up, and increased more and more with each step closer the woman got to his position at the counter.

 

“W…W…Welcome to Pizza Shack. How may I help you?” Stammered the flustered pizza man.

 

“I’m here for a Sonic Eats order.” Replied the chocolate temptress.

 

“Comin right up.” Xavier said as he marched to the hotbox that held all of the pickup orders. He carried 2 large pizzas, an order of wings, a box of breadsticks, a box of cinnamon rolls and 2 two liter bottles of soda to the counter.”

 

“Would you happen to have any milk?” asked the unnamed woman. Xavier thought for a moment.

 

‘We don’t sell milk here…..WAIT! We do have some milk in the back tho!’ He thought, remembering that they use milk as an ingredient for the pizza dough.

 

“Yeah, I got you.” Xavier remarked with a slight smile. He then grabbed a large to-go cup and put some ice in it. He then made his way to the walk-in cooler in the back of the store and filled the cup to the top with milk. On his way back to the counter he put a lid on the cup and grabbed a straw for the smokin hot food courier.

 

“Here ya go one large milk.”. The delivery girl pulled out her wallet and grabbed a few $1 bills.

 

“Don’t worry about it. It’s on me.” added the green eyed worker.

 

“Thank yooouuu….” Purred the redhead sweetly.

 

“You need some help getting all of this loaded on your bike?” Xavier asked while looking down at the tremendous number of items the red headed woman had to deliver.

 

“I wouldn’t mind it.” The mysterious woman answered back. Xavier grabbed the stack of food items and walked toward the door. He opened the door for the woman with one hand while holding everything with his other hand. The delivery girl opened a trunk-like storage compartment on the back of her motorcycle, so he could load the food. He carefully put the sodas on the side of the storage box, making sure not to shake them up by accident. The woman grabbed the pizzas from him and put them in the box. Lastly, Xavier loaded the chicken wings, breadsticks, and brownies on top of the pizzas and closed the trunk.

 

“Thank you…. Xavier!” said the thicc chocolate, red headed woman with a gracious smile. She quickly looked at his name tag to identify him while speaking.

 

“No problem. You’re very welcome miss….” Xavier replied, not knowing the woman’s name.

 

“Yuriko…” the redhead answered, finishing Xavier’s sentence for him to introduce herself.

 

“Never seen you here before Xavier. Are you new or something?” Yuriko asked, curious about who the new Pizza Shack guy is.

 

“Yeah. I’m new in town. I moved here about a week ago. I transferred to this store from a Pizza Shack in New York.”

 

“Welcome to World City Xavier. Thanks again for the free milk!” Yuriko purred before taking a big sip from her cup.

 

“I come here a lot to make delivery runs, I hope you’re here next time, Xavier.” Yuriko remarked with a seductive grin before putting on her helmet and getting back on her bike. Xavier stood there and watched as she sped off into the night. She waved at him while driving off.

 

Right after Yuriko left, a Navy blue luxury sedan pulled up to the Pizza Shack. Xavier recognized the car but it wasn’t his aunt Xenna.

 

“Mom!?” Xavier said, surprised at the change of plans that had taken place. The window rolled down and Mei poked her head out of the window

 

“SORPRESA! (SURPRISE!)” Mei yelled.

 

“Hold on, I gotta clock out and get my stuff!” Said the hard-working son before darting back into the building. He came back out with his backpack in hand and got in the car.

 

“¿Como fue tu primer dia? (So, how was your first day?)” Mei asked him while swiftly backing out of the parking lot.

 

“It went pretty good. It was really busy up until the last hour of my shift.” answered the son as he wiped some sweat from his forehead.

 

“Si, looks like you found someone to keep you busy for that last hour.” Mei said.

 

“WHAT?! I don’t know what you’re talkin about!” Xavier deflected in an attempt to act like he didn’t know what Mei was referring to.

 

“¿Pues, quien era esa chica con la motocicleta? (So, who was that girl on the motorcycle?)” Questioned the blonde milf, raising one eyebrow before making a kissing face in jest. She had been sitting at a red light across the street watching Xavier’s interaction with Yuriko.

 

“Uhhh. She’s a customer. W….well, she works for a courier service to be specific. She had a big order to pick up, so I helped her out.” explained the auburn-haired youth.

 

“Look at my little prince, getting all the ladies out here!” Mei teased, causing her son to turn as red as a rose.

 

“Maaaom, it’s not like that. I’m just doing my job.” He responded. Mei then looked to her side at Xavier and asked him a serious question.

 

“What do you think of us moving here?” Questioned the mother, eager to hear her son’s opinion.

 

“It was pretty last minute and short notice, but I guess it’s ok.” Xavier answered hesitantly.

 

“I know you didn’t want to leave New York but give it a chance.” Mei suggested optimistically.

 

“We left because an opportunity presented itself to me, one I couldn’t ignore. I’m starting a new business and World City has a lot to offer for it.” Mei explained.

 

“I get it mom.” Xavier replied, trying not to sound disappointed about leaving his lifelong home.

 

“It’s just that change is hard. I don’t know anything about this city. I’m still waiting to hear back from some colleges. What if a school out of state picks me up and I have to move again?”

 

“If that happens, we’ll deal with it when the time comes. I think World City has a lot to offer you and your sister. World City has some really good colleges, top of the line. You might get a response from one of them.”

 

“Yeah but I want to get into a school that has a cinematography program, you know the film schools I’ve been talking about for the last three years.”

 

“I know, maybe you should look up some of the local colleges here? You never know, there might be one out here that has that program. I just know there is. World City has something for everybody. Some of the top schools in the country are here.” Suggested the wise milf as she pulled into the driveway of their new home.

 

“I’ll check it out tomorrow.” Xavier promised as he got out of the car.

 

“Can you check the mail for me?” Mei asked as she approached the front door to her house.

 

“Yeah, I got it.” replied Xavier before walking over to the mailbox. He pulled out several envelopes, 4 of which had his name on them. Eyes widened with surprise and anticipation, he then immediately went inside and sprinted up the stairs to his room. Upon hearing this, Jett came back inside through a dog entrance that had been installed on the back door of the house and sprinted to Xavier’s room. The young man looked through the stack of envelopes he grabbed out of the mailbox.The first envelope was addressed to him from one of the schools he applied to.

 

“…Regret to inform you that you have not been selected to attend our university.” Xavier read aloud. He threw that letter in the trash before opening the next one.

 

“Mr. Williams, we are sorry to announce that you were not chosen to participate in our university’s Cinematography program… Damn that’s two in a row.” he said in a low defeated tone. The scar faced young man proceeded to open the third letter. It was another rejection notification.

 

“Still nothing…” Xavier sighed sadly. Jett rubbed his head against Xavier’s leg, making a light whimpering sound. He didn’t even bother to open the last letter, instead he put the letter down on his desk and flopped onto his bed and closed his eyes, disappointed over the letters he read.

(The next morning…………)

 

Xavier had slept in longer than he planned to. He opened his eyes and picked up his cell phone off of the nightstand next to his bed and looked hard at the screen.

 

“It’s almost noon…” he said groggily before sitting up in his bed. The auburn-haired youth raised his arms, stretching as he let out a long, drawn-out yawn.

 

After showering and brushing his teeth, he went to work putting away his belongings, most of which were still in moving boxes scattered across his bedroom floor. While doing so, he glanced at the lone unopened letter sitting on his desk from the previous night.

 

‘I guess I’ll open it now. Probably another rejection letter, might as well get it out of the way.’ Right away, he noticed the sender was a person rather than an organization. In the upper left corner of the letter ‘Headmistress T. K. S.’ were written in black ink followed by an address on the next line. He opened the envelope and saw that rather than a typical typed company letterhead, there was a handwritten letter.

 

Dear Mr. Williams,

We have taken notice of your hard work, effort and progress that you have made over the last 4 years. You are just the type of man we are looking for. I believe you would be an excellent addition to our student body at BSU. We will be offering numerous programs to choose from to suit your higher learning needs and your career ambitions. I cordially invite you to meet with me as soon as possible so we can discuss your educational future, provided with a full scholarship to BSU.

Xavier couldn’t help but smile after reading the letter

 

“YES! YES!” he yelled while jumping high into the air, pumping his fist several times before hitting the floor again. He felt a powerful surge of relief, as if the weight of the world had been lifted from his shoulders. He fell to his knees and let out a deep sigh, pleased with the news.

 

“This Headmistress lady went to a lot of effort. A personal handwritten letter.” Xavier said lightly while staring at the paper. He quickly got back to his feet and looked out of the window to check if Mei was still home. Upon seeing that her car wasn’t parked outside, he grabbed his phone and immediately called someone.

 

RING! RING! RING!

 

“Hello, X…”

 

“Aunt Xenna I need a big favor. I need a ride somewhere ASAP! I’ll explain when you get here.” demanded the young man.

 

“Alright, I’ll be there in 15.” Xenna replied before both parties hung up. Xavier ran to his closet and looked for some clothes to wear to his big meeting. After moving hangers around to scan his wardrobe he settled on a pair of khaki pants, a white and a navy-blue striped polo shirt with a large golden horse emblem on the breast area. He completed his outfit with a pair of brand new white and navy-blue and gray colored Air Jordan sneakers he got for his 18th birthday. With not much time left before his aunt arrived, Xavier hurriedly ironed his clothes and got dressed. He looked at himself in the mirror and struck several poses. He raised his eyebrow, crossed his arms and grabbed hold of his chin, mimicking a common pose used in clothing ads. Next, he did a second pose in front of the mirror by holding his clenched fist in the palm of his other hand, in an attempt to look cool like the professional fighters, anime heroes and fighting game protagonists who frequently used this pose in promotional artwork.

 

“Somethins’ missing here.” He remarked believing his look was not quite right yet. Xavier grabbed a pair of glasses from the desk and put them on, nodding in approval as he looked at his reflection in the mirror once more.

 

HONK! HONK!

 

“She’s here!” Exclaimed the young man in a mixture of excitement and panic. Xavier quickly grabbed his backpack off the floor and slung it over his shoulder before walking out of his bedroom.

 

‘Wait!’ He thought before going back into his room. He scanned his desk until he saw a dark blue bracelet made of Buddhist style prayer beads. He let out a sigh of relief, having found it relatively quickly. He had this bracelet nearly his entire life. It served as somewhat of a good luck charm to him. It previously belonged to Xavier’s grandfather and then his father. It was given to him by his father when he was a boy. Despite his fractured relationship with his old man, Xavier still values it. After getting his bracelet he darted out of his room and jumped down the stairs to the floor, and ran to the kitchen.

 

“JETT! IT’S TIME TO EAT!” Xavier yelled out as brought out a platter with food and water bowls on it. His pet dog rushed into the house to meet him in the kitchen.

 

“I’ll be back in a little bit!”

 

The door slammed as he dashed to Xenna’s car.

 

“YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS!” the auburn haired teenager yelled as he approached.

 

“WHAT’S HAPPENING!?” Xenna yelled back in response, matching Xavier’s level of excitement.

 

“THERE’S A COLLEGE THAT WANTS ME! ONE WITH A CINEMATOGRAPHY PROGRAM!!!” Xavier answered, continuing to yell.

 

“CONGRATULATIONS NEPH’! So, you called me for a ride to the school?”

 

“Yeah! When I got off work last night, I checked the mail and I got 4 letters from schools. The first 3 I read were rejection notices. I put the last one down and went to bed. I thought opening the last letter was just gonna be another waste. When I woke up I saw it just sitting on my desk. I had to open it… And it was an invitation. To meet with the head of the school!”

 

“I’ll tell you what…How about you take the car and drive yourself there?” Xenna suggested while getting out of the car.

 

“You need to get familiar with the city and you have some time before you have to be at the interview, so go ahead.” Xenna continued as she walked around to the passenger’s side of the vehicle where Xavier was standing.

 

“Really?” Xenna’s nephew questioned.

 

“Yeah go ahead. I’m gonna hang out here in your fine ass house!” Xenna answered. She handed him the keys to her car and nodded for him to head out.

 

“Thanks!”

 

“No problem lil X. Good luck with the meeting. I know you’re gonna kill it.” She wished before giving Xavier a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Xavier got out of the car and pulled out of the driveway but just as he was leaving the neighborhood, his phone rang and he answered.

 

“Hello?”

 

“Hello X, I wanted to know, what school sent you the letter?” Xenna inquired with a slight grin on her face, as if she already knew all the details.

 

“It’s a place called BSU. I guess it’s an old school that was recently sold to a new owner. I saw that on the news yesterday.” answered the young man, unsure of what type of university it was. The young man hit the brakes slowly and brought the vehicle to a near top at the stop sign in front of him. There were no other cars at the intersection so he kept going and turned right. Xavier looked to his left and saw a side street lined with other luxurious homes, some of which were bigger and more expensive than his own. There at one particular residence, he saw a man and his teenage son playing basketball in their driveway which was the size of an indoor gym basketball court.

 

“I told you World City has a lot to offer. You can’t be afraid of change X. Sometimes change is needed to progress in life.” Xenna remarked through the phone. As she said this, Xavier’s eyes were fixed on the man playing basketball with his son. Something about this grabbed his attention.

 

“Are you there?” Xenna asked. This snapped the young man out of his trance and brought him back to the phone conversation

 

“Yeah, I’m here. I know this city has a lot to offer but I’m headed into the unknown. I’m happy I got an offer, but at the same time I’m nervous.” lamented the teenager while continuing to drive. Xavier then input the address to BSU into his phone for driving directions.

He continued forward and left the gated community he lived in.

 

[Navigation]: Turn left on Lincoln Avenue

 

Xavier turned left onto Lincoln Avenue. Lincoln Avenue was a busy street loaded with stores, restaurants and shopping centers of all varieties. It is one of the major roadways in World City. The main landmark was the Lincoln Heights Mall, one of five shopping malls that serviced the citizens of World City. The Lincoln Plaza area that surrounded Xavier’s neighborhood was bustling with activity. Both sides of the road contained shopping centers which were packed with cars. The smell of chicken wings crept into his open window from across the street, courtesy of Buffalo Crazy Wings, a popular establishment in the area. Next to it was a Gamespot video game store and a military recruiting office. While looking around at the community Xavier listened to Xenna’s response to his last statement….

 

“And that’s normal, but remember you have been preparing for this. You studied, brought up your grades high enough to qualify for this movie school program, you gave up boxing to pursue your dream. Have faith in yourself. I have faith in you, so does your mom, your uncle Sidd, Xaria and Xelina.” Xenna pointed out to Xavier as he continued to drive down Lincoln Avenue. As he got closer to the highway exit.

 

[Navigation]: In 5 miles make a right on Interstate 66

 

“Well, I guess I’ll just have to see how this meeting goes.” Xavier replied with mixed feelings. He continued down Lincoln Avenue until he got to the I-66 exit. He turned right on the exit which itself was a winding roller coaster-like road which overpassed other highways that crossed over and under one another. The long snake-like exit road brought him to 1-66, a high rising highway that allowed for drivers to overlook the rest of the city while traveling. The lunchtime rush hour slowed traffic down substantially, allowing Xavier to look around and take in the scenery. In the distance he saw several, which were separated by bodies of water such as World Bay and Universe Lake, much like the 5 boroughs of New York City, but with more islands, waters and bridges to connect them all. Cluster of skyscrapers rose up from the many Isles of the city piercing high into the clear blue skies.

 

After turning off onto the next exit Xavier cruised into the downtown district. The atmosphere of downtown was fun and festive, boasting multiple night clubs, some of which opened in the evening and 24/7 bars full of happy multi-color bead-wearing customers. Street performers such as dancers and musicians and magicians plied their trade at bus stops and street corners, attracting the attention and money of the tourists who crowded around them. The party culture of Downtown was an amalgamation of trends and traditions of all 4 regions of the United States such as New Orleans’ Mardi Gras and Los Angeles as well as numerous international cities known for having a good time like Tokyo. The street corners and sidewalks of Downtown were littered with food trucks, and push carts owned by street vendors, selling breakfast, lunch and dinner to visiting tourists and their regulars who work in Downtown. Buses and trolleys chugged along the downtown streets giving tours of World City to out of town guests. The vibe of downtown gave the green eyed man a familiar feeling. “This kinda reminds me of home.” Xavier remarked, likening downtown World City to New York.

 

[Navigation]: In 300 feet make a right on to east Washington Street

 

Xavier followed the directions and got on Washington Street, this brought him into the Midtown district of the city. Traffic was backed up more than usual due to city workers repainting the white stripes on the street itself.

 

“Damn it! Forgot to set the navigation to avoid construction!” Xavier cursed while slowing down. During the temporary stop, he looked around and took in some of the sites of Midtown. The buildings were marked with signs advertising plays, musical concerts, opera shows and stand up comedy shows.

 

“I guess this is the theater district.” Xavier remarked as he trudged along in 10 mile per hour traffic. Xavier was correct in his assumption, for Midtown is the theater district of the city. As he continued down the road, he saw a large banner hanging from one of the buildings. The banner displayed all new artwork of popular anime/manga hero Ichigo Kurosaki in his Final Getsuga Tensho form facing off with his nemesis, Sosuke Aizen in his Final Hogyoku form. At the bottom of the banner sign that read “Bleach: Soul Echoes…. Coming Soon!!”

 

“What the fuck! A Bleach play?! That looks kinda dope for a musical.” Xavier commented while still driving. He looked to his right and saw a megatron screen which featured a video of the iconic fighting game pioneer and Street Fighter protagonist Ryu charging to fire his trademark Hadoken special move. After he fired the Hadoken the text “Street Fighter: Musha” appeared on screen.

 

“NO WAY! I gotta go see that one too!”

 

The Midtown area was busy year round due to the constant line of entertainers who cycled in and out of World City to perform while on tour. Further ahead, he saw Wong’s Chinese Theater.

 

“Whoa! That’s where all the big movies have their World City premieres!” Xavier said, keenly observing his surroundings. The strip of sidewalk on that side of the street was the location of the World City Walk of fame. There the biggest stars from all facets of entertainment were commemorated with a star with their name on it on the concrete.

 

“I gotta go check that out sometime!” the young man barked excitedly while passing Wong’s. Further down the road and to the right was the Beauregard Arena, one of four major event venues in World City. This served as the home base of the World City Barbarians, the city’s major league pro hockey team.

 

“Beauregard Arena? The bleach company?” Xavier questioned.

 

The Beauregard Arena is named after its biggest corporate sponsor, Beauregard industries, the world’s leader in producing household cleaning products; Perhaps they are best known for Beaurox Bleach and Wave, their line of laundry detergent powder, liquid and pods.

 

As he continued driving, the road painting stopped which freed up traffic. After driving another 10 blocks, the Navigation gave Xavier more instruction.

 

[Navigation]: Turn left

 

Xavier looked to his left and saw the exit and saw a sign marked College Station Road. College station is a colossal area of World City, one whose name explained what it was perfectly. The College Station region is a town within the city where several college campuses could be located. After taking the exit he had 4 miles to go until the Summit Drive exit. To his left and his right there were multiple clusters of apartment complexes.

 

“College Station, with that name, has to be a college heavy town. I guess these apartments are aimed at the college student population.” Xavier hypothesized as he continued to drive.The area was also full of businesses aimed at the college crowd, including coffee shops, health food stores and gyms.

 

[Navigation]: Turn right to take the exit to Summit Drive.

 

Xavier took the exit which led him down a long curving hill. Once at the bottom of the hill, he merged onto Summit Drive. He continued down the street until he reached 9669 Summit Drive, the location. The young man pulled up to the open gated entrance where he saw an empty security shack.

 

‘That’s weird. A security shack with no one in it.’ Observed the youth aloud.

 

“Wait, this place is under new management. Maybe they don’t have any security hired yet.” Xavier continued. He drove past the security station and went on to a parking lot in front of the main campus.

 

‘This is it. It’s time.’ thought the green eyed pizza man as he slowly opened the car door to get out.

 

‘I’m here…’ He thought to himself as he stood, scanning the University campus before him. The BSU campus looked nothing at all like the site of a University. The grounds were barren with dirt everywhere. Weeds stuck out from the numerous cracks in the pavement of the sidewalks. Random pieces of trash, cigarette butts, loose plastic cups and empty cans and liquor bottles were littered across the grounds, evidence that World City citizens trespassed on BSU lands countless times over the last 3 years. The area looked like an abandoned city with almost no sign of its previous existence as a place of higher learning.

 

‘This… this place looks like a dump…’

 

To the far left, he saw one building that looked like it had been renovated or even newly built. It was a wide skyscraper-like structure at its base were two large orb shaped bus stops. He stared at the building for a few seconds, noticing something peculiar about the building.

 

‘What the fuck?! That building looks like a giant dick!’ he thought to himself.

 

Directly across from him, in the center of the campus stood a building which bore a resemblance to a European castle. At the front was a steep and wide set of stairs which led to a set of giant double doors which marked the entrance to the building. Much like most of the other buildings on site, this structure was weathered and worse for wear. Weeds around the building had grown out of control. Vines reached up all the way to the third story of the building, making it look like it was some sort of a jungle castle from a post apocalyptic video game.

 

“There’s no signs to give me directions, but I’m gonna assume this one in front of me is the main office.” Xavier remarked as he started walking towards “The Castle”. The college prospect pushed open the double doors and slowly stepped into the building. The area inside was massive. There was a long, immense hallway marked with a spiraling stairwell at the end. He looked around and so no signs to direct him where to go.

 

The green-eyed teenager wandered around the first floor of the building, going from room to room. He found nothing but empty offices. After going into a couple of rooms on the first floor, Xavier noticed a handwritten sign on the wall that read “Go this way” with an arrow that pointed up to the second floor. He followed the sign and made his way to the stairs to check the second floor. Xavier walked up the stairs and thought about who and what might be awaiting him. His knees wobbled as he got closer to the second floor.

 

‘Why am I shaking?‘ He asked himself as he continued to the second floor. The glasses-wearing teen stopped and looked down to the end of the hall. He walked forward gingerly, being gripped by his own fear more and more with every footstep.

 

‘This is like making it to the final boss on a video game!‘ The pizza man thought to himself.

 

“Headmistress.” Xavier read aloud as he got in range to knock on the door.

“Enter!” Called out a loud yet still soft voice from inside of the office. Xavier grabbed the doorknob and turned it hesitantly and pushed it open at a snail’s pace, hiding his face behind the door as he did so.

 

“Don’t be afraid Xavier.” Said the voice cheerfully. The young man pushed the door open all the way to reveal a short teenage girl sitting behind an oversized office desk. She was dressed in a red skirt style women’s business suit with a ruffled white dress shirt underneath. The girl had long, flowing white hair which hung past the arm rests of her chair. Her skin had a glowing off-white complexion which complimented her silver locks. The girl’s eyes were a light green hue, like the color of a lime. She stared at Xavier with a stern fearsome face, which made the young man even more uncomfortable. He felt like the ceiling was pushing down on him, while at the same time the floor was pushing up and the walls were moving forward towards him. The pressure was so intense that it felt like the entire room was closing in on him at that moment.

 

‘What is this feeling!? It’s like the gravity in the room is times a thousand!!!’ Xavier thought to himself. The atmosphere in the room was suffocating. It was like the ground was pulling at him from beneath his feet. His knees buckled as pressure intensified even more.

 

‘It’s not the room…. IT’S HER!’ Xavier realized while looking at the girl.

 

After observing Xavier for about 10 seconds, the girl pushed her chair back.

“I’m Taiyohime Shinoda, Headmistress of BSU” Said the girl, still atop her desk as she introduced herself. She extended her hand, looking down at Xavier with a smile. The green-eyed man stepped forward and reached up to accept the Headmistress’ handshake.

 

“Hello.” Xavier simply replied. The Headmistress then jumped backwards, not even looking to see where her chair was and landed perfectly in it.

 

“I’m here because I got the letter from you yesterday. I want to know more about the university and the program.”

 

“We will get to that soon.” Taiyohime commented while grabbing a beige folder. She opened it up and browsed through it.

 

“You’re from Queens, New York. I’m from there too. I was in Sunnyside.” Taiyohime informed him, opening the conversation.

 

“I’m from Southside. Been there all my life. We moved to Forest Hills when my mom started making more money.”

 

The Headmistress proceeds to open a folder with numerous paperwork records on Xavier.

We would like to offer you a temporary position working for our Admissions Department as a recruiter for BSU.” Taiyohime elaborated.

 

“So, you want me to convince people to go to school here?”

 

“Yes, World City is one of if not the most highly populated city on Earth. I think you can help us reach our numbers.” Assured the silver haired school administrator. “You will be paid a salary while you’re recruiting for us. You can quit your job at Pizza Shack, you won’t be needing it. I think you will find the compensation you get working for to be much more to your liking, afterall, your mom is the one signing your checks.

 

“I don’t know about this, I don’t think I’d be much help as a recruiter. I’m not a people person. I don’t know how to talk people into doing stuff. I’m shy, especially around girls… I think you have the wrong guy.” Xavier confessed while looking off to the side. Upon hearing this statement, Taiyohime realized that Xavier was lacking in confidence, which was odd given his background as a successful amateur athlete.

 

“I understand your point, but you won’t know how good you are at it until you make the attempt. If you want to be a producer, a director, you are gonna have to communicate with actors on the set. It’s part of the job. I’m asking you to give it a try. BSU really needs YOUR help! We need YOU! We want you at BSU!” Taiyohime declared with passion. The young man sat in his chair contemplating the principal’s words. Something about what she said reverberated in his mind over and over.

“Well, while you think about your decision, how about we take a tour of the campus.” Suggested the Headmistress before rising to her feet.

“This area is one we aren’t using yet. Eventually we plan to have other businesses renting space here. Each of these stations has a full-service kitchen. Once we raise the University’s profile, fast food joints want to establish locations on campus.”

“You are the first step in making that happen.” Replied the woman dressed in red. The administrator looked at Xavier and nodded, signaling to him that it was time to resume the tour. She left the lobby area and walked down a hallway which led to the back of the building. There were rooms on both sides of the hall, akin to conference rooms, and party rooms found in hotels. After passing a few of these rooms, Taiyohime made a left and opened the door. Xavier followed. After walking inside, Xavier stopped to take a look around. The interior of the room resembled a high school classroom. The floor was made of light brown, square shaped tiles. Several desks were arranged in rows just like they were in high school. At the front of the room there was a rather large oak wood desk. Behind the desk there was a massive green chalkboard mounted on the wall framed with wood paneling.

 

“What is this?” inquired the BSU target.

 

“This is a study hall. It’s a place you can go to work on assignments or study in peace without having to leave the tower. You will be able to get the keys from the dorm manager.

 

“This reminds me of after school tutoring. I used to go to a classroom like this to get help with homework and studying for tests.” Reminisced the little man fondly.
